The objective of the symposium is to give a short introduction to the field of clinically oriented biomedical informatics.
The one-day symposium is divided in two parts: The first part is focused on information and knowledge retrieval - within education, clinical practice and research. The second part is on information systems and tools as integrated parts of the workflow.
The presentations will include both talks on the virtues of informatics, as well as more critical points of view.
The symposium is arranged and sponsored by Finska Läkaresällskapet (the Medical Society of Finland)
